Kepler day 4

The fourth day of the Kepler was an easy one - mostly downhill.  We started the day with a short side trip to the Luxmore Cave.

The cave was nice, but wet inside, so we didn't get in very far.

Here we are, officially leaving the hut and starting the journey.

On the way back down.

Brod Bay, almost back!

Lake Te Anau.

There and back again!  All finished!  Just to put our trip in perspective - every year, on the first Saturday in December, 400 runners attempt the Kepler Challenge - completing the entire track in just one day.  Fastest time - 4 hours, 37 minutes (2005).
