We were very lucky to stumble upon a bagpipes competition in the center of town! Some of the groups were pretty good - though approaching from a distance was a bit crazy - nothing worse than the sound of 600 bagpipes playing over each other.

We drove a short distance out of Dunedin for a free camping spot in Macandrew Bay. Our camper is the first in a row of 5 free spots allowed by the city council. Bathrooms provided nearby.
