Territory Wildlife Park, Darwin

We spent the whole day at the park - what a wonderful place!

Awesome spiral tree.

Frilled neck lizard - here, just relaxing.  Reminds me of that scary little dinosaur in Jurassic Park!

This fearsome eagle couldn't help snuggling up to her caretaker throughout the talk!  So cute!

Falcon, another cool bird.  We watched him eat a mouse...

Crazy ants we saw on the trail!

Close up of the biting green ants.

Tawny frogmouth.  NOT an owl!

Lady Gouldian Finches.

Channel-billed Cuckoo - they lay their eggs in other birds' nests and let them take care of the babies!

Snake-necked turtle - for obvious reasons!

Dingo.

Paperback forest.

Table of various 'roos and wallabies - I had no idea there were so many!

Needless to say, we were the very last ones out of the park.
