We spent a few days in Singapore, mostly because there was a cheap flight to Australia. It's a lovely city, but way too hot! Even for SE Asia.
We stayed in the red light district where hotels were cheapest (and reasonably nice). This was our view.
Our trip downtown - public transportation here was amazing!
One Fullerton St, the heart of the tourist area.
One Fullerton.
The famous fountain!
Awesome architecture and Ferris wheel.
The ArtScience Museum and Marina Bay Sands resort. Which, for whatever reason, looks to me like three big buildings with a flying fish plopped on top. I don't know why. It's supposed to be a boat.
Cavenage Bridge.
Opened in 1870.
One of the oldest bridges in Singapore.
River shore area - full of expensive restaurants with great views.
Esplanade, also known as the Durian building since it's shaped like the smelly fruit.
Awesome sculpture outside of the metro.
