Last day in Sydney

Sydney Botanic Gardens

The joke really was that funny!

Gardens and downtown Sydney in the background.

Sydney Opera House and Bridge!!!

We were there!

Another view of downtown.

What kind of horrible, evil person would steal plants from a botanic garden?  That's just crazy!

Cute spider - so many of them on this trip!

Pretty lady.

Pretty bird.

Candy Crush candy?!  What is this world coming to?!

Opera House up close.

Bird chillim' by the Opera House.

Sydney Bay Bridge!

More of downtown.

"After three years of intensive search for a basic geometry for the shell complex I arrived in October 1961 at the spherical solution shown here.

"I call this my 'key to the shells' because it solves all of the problems of construction by opening up for mass production, precision in manufacture and simple erection and with this geometrical system I attain full harmony between all the shapes in this fantastic complex." Jórn Utzon

Not quite sure what he's trying to say here, but the structure is pretty fantastic, I'll give him that!

We walked over the Sydney Harbor Bridge; it was pretty awesome!

The other side of the bridge.

A view of the bridge itself.

And one more!
