We spent some more time in Hanoi walking around and shopping. There are so many shops and markets! All filled with cheaply made goods - tons and tons of them! And merchants organize themselves based on what they sell, so there are whole streets dedicated to wedding invitations, or children's clothes, or home altars. It's definitely a very interesting city, but after about a week the craziness and fast pace started getting to us. We purchased an "open bus" ticket to Ho Chi Minh City with 5 stops valid for one year. So, we have 12 months to make it there, spending as long as we like in several cities along the coast.
