We spent one full day in Da Nang, mostly walking around and exploring the city, enjoying yummy Vietnamese iced coffee. We learned that Vietnam is the world's second largest coffee producer after Brazil, I can see why. The coffee here is different than in the States - it is usually served with condensed milk and ice on the side. There's about a half an inch of thick, tar like coffee on top of a similar layer of sweet condensed milk. It's actually quite delicious.
Picture 1: Used helmets for sale. It is required by law to wear a helmet while driving a motorbike, though there are no standards about the helmets or even whether or not they need to be properly fastened. So, you can buy a Styrofoam "helmet" without chin straps, and you're good to go. Even still, many people drive without any head gear at all. Surprisingly, we only saw one accident, where two bikes collided in an intersection. The two bikes got stuck together, but their owners pried them apart and went their separate ways.

Pictures 9-11: The Champa museum. Cham people still live in Vietnam - they are one of the 54 ethnic groups. There are approximately 150,000 individuals alive today, most living in southern Vietnam.
