On our final day in the park we decided to do the longest hike, over 24 km round trip, to the Green Lake. We left our bungalow at 7am and returned just before dark. Chicken and rice never tasted so good! Of course, I shared my dinner with both the kitten, whom Caryl and I named Florentine, and also with a dog we nicknamed Oscar. Caryl convinced Florentine to eat some rice just by putting a drop of sauce on it. I think, though, that she liked the garlic spaghetti with fish from the first night the best. Oscar ate anything we gave him, though both animals looked healthy and pretty well fed. The Green Lake was also very nice. :)
