So we decided to see the lemurs one more time before we left Andasibe; we just couldn't resist their charm. Caryl's favorite were the little bamboo lemurs. We were told they didn't like to be touched, but Caryl just couldn't resist. I think the lemur put up with it a little because Caryl first gave him half a banana.
After saying goodbye to our lemur friends we shared a lovely lunch at the Vakona Lodge. We then drove together to Moramanga, where Tosoa and Rondy dropped us off. Since it was Sunday, they needed to return to Tana, as Tosoa needed to go back to work. Caryl and I were having problems with our flight company; they had canceled our ticket, and it took over a month for them to book us a new flight. They had told us we would be flying out probably on the 15th (it ended up being the 10th). We spent the night in Moramanga, because they had promised to tell us our flight details on Monday, and we didn't want to go all the way back to Tana if we had another week of traveling left. In the end we got a ride to Tana on Wednesday with Tosoa's cousin, and flew out of Madagascar on that Friday.
