We spent our last days in Madagascar in Tana saying our goodbyes to Tosoa and his wonderful family. We learned that his father, who is very politically and socially active, was on the cover of two newspapers. His organization was quoted criticizing the people in power who are incompetent and not working for what's best for the country. Corruption is a huge problem in Madagascar, and he is brave to point out such examples, though it could be dangerous, as politicians control the police.
On a lighter note, for our last dinner we went to Carnivore, an all-you-can-eat restaurant that serves many kinds of meat, including snake and crocodile (the guys picked this one). The next day we left Madagascar with heavy hearts. We miss you Tosoa and Rondro!!!
