In the afternoon of the second day we hiked to the natural pool, one of the main attractions of the park. As we approached the pool the desert quickly turned into a tropical oasis. The river, called Red Death, brings life to the otherwise arid region. Of course lemurs take advantage of the life line! Here we saw the white sifaka, also known as the dancing lemur. I encourage everyone to Google videos of sifakas dancing; I promise it will be worth it!
