With Carl and some of my family we took a day trip to Tyniec, a Benedictine monastery near Krakow built in the year 1044.

We also took a day trip to Aushwitz, which is about a half hour ride outside of Krakow in the town of Oswiecim. It was an emotional day, to say the least.
