Germany, part 2

After leaving Wallhausen, we drove to visit Herbert and Marlena and their family in Holzheim. We had a really wonderful time - watching the World Cup (even though one of the players got bitten), bonding over food, spirits, and chocolate, and walking around Ulm.

In Ulm, we saw the Cathedral with the tallest bell tower in the world:

Ulm also has the Schiefes Haus, the most leaning hotel in the world, certified by Guinness. Yes, it leans more than any other! And it's over a river, which makes it appear even more interesting:

Ulm, and Germany in general, made a great impression on us. From what we saw, it is a well-organized, clean, and peaceful place. People seem happy and taken care of, healthcare appears pretty good, and there are enough good jobs. And they even have a decent soccer team...
