From Morondava we took a day trip to see the famous Boababs. We stopped by the weekly zebu market on the way - an adult zebu should cost between 800,000 and a million ariary ($300-400). We then spent the day walking through rice fields and zebu herds looking at thousand year old trees. Caryl enjoyed a refreshing beer while leaning against one of them - I had some coke. Around sunset the tourists started trickling in - the best time for photos is at dusk. We were the last ones out - our driver eventually tracked us down. It was a nice day.
